Today, the challenges faced by parents have never been greater. Many working families are struggling to just make ends meet in this difficult economy. However, we know that when our children are healthy, they are equipped with the tools they need to guarantee their success. That’s why Healthy Kids, Oregon’s health coverage program for uninsured children, will help make sure every child in the state has health insurance parents can afford.
Healthy Kids provides no-cost and low-cost health coverage for Oregon children and teens up to 19 years of age. Coverage lasts for one full year and covers all health needs, including doctor visits, dental, vision, mental or behavioral health services, prescriptions and more. Children will not be turned away due to preexisting conditions or be put on a waiting list.
Your child can have health coverage.

No family makes too much money for Healthy Kids. Parent’s income will determine whether a child is eligible for the no-cost or low-cost coverage option. For example, a family of four that earns as much as $66,000 a year may qualify for low-cost coverage.
The Office of Healthy Kids is working to make sure parents know their children and teens now have access to great health coverage they can afford.
Healthy Kids has local community partner organizations around the state ready to help families through the application process. Please visit the Healthy Kids website to find a list of community organizations who are available to help families apply. You can also get more information by calling: 1-877-314-5678.
