I have worked for the Karuk Tribe for about 10 years in the Health and Human Services Department, Medical clinic - Data Entry, Receptionist, Medical Records, Outreach for Elders Services, and the Senior Center Program Supervisor. I have also worked in for the U.S.D.A. Forest Service for about 10 years - working in Business Management and Fire. I have been a volunteer for a number of other organizations over the years. I have lived rural all of my life and I am passionate about sustaining the quality of life that provides for the needs of all ages in our rural area with an economic base that has become depressed. We still need health care, youth and senior services, and an economic base to support them. |
