Hello Steven,
I checked into the problem you were having accessing your workspace, but it should be resolved now. If you still have trouble, let us know.
Thanks!

I have been to that section of the website and this is the error that I get:

Welcome, Steven Crader.

You are logged in, but you do not have access to this workspace.

Please logout and try again, or, if you think this an error on our part, please contact us and we’ll get it fixed.
Thanks,
Ripple Staff

Thanks

Steve, Not sure where your hang-up is.  You need to be on your community’s site (where you see a photo, description of project, etc).  To get there you go to
Resources (Tab on top)
Ford Leadership Program/Leadership
Leadership Classes
(your community by region)

There is a blue link that says ‘Shared Workspace.’ Several people have noted that they click on that and it’s not a link.  Just waiting for 30-50 seconds usually solves that problem.  If you still can’t access that, it may be that your log in isn’t set up properly.

Good luck

Union County Class can’t access shared workspace. Help?

Ok, I really think it’s working now. . .really.

Still just refreshes the RIPPLE page, but doesn’t open a new window or pull up the file.

Ok Cec,

Try it now. I think we fixed the problem.

Sincerely,

Beth

Thanks, Beth.  The one I tried to post is the Word doc that shows there “Action Teams and Contacts”

Cec,

I can help you get your files up. What type of files are you trying to upload?

The shared workspace only recognizes, Word, Excell, and PDF files.

-Beth

I am a Community Trainer for Mon-Indep.  We are unable to access files we upload to our shared workspace.  We can see them there, but clicks get nothing.  I tried to use the “Video to Learn How to Upload Files” but all I get is a RealPlayer symbol in the middle of the screen, then a question mark superimposed upon it.  It is easy to attach files to Discussion Forum posts, but then you have to wade through threads to find them.

I really, really, really want to encourage people to use this great resource, but it’s not working out too well.  Both the limited-ability users and the IT guys are extremely frustrated.  I am mildly so.  I’ve attached a little poll (another cool feature!!) to see if others have this problem.
