USDA Rural Development is the mission area of USDA focused on the needs of rural America. With seven offices and nearly 70 employees across Oregon, they deliver an array of federal programs (loan guarantees, direct loans, and grants) for rural Oregonians to fund affordable homeownership and rental housing, community infrastructure, business and economic development, and "green" energy projects.
